Louis Stokes Head Start - Step Forward

So far this has been a great choice. I can tell differences in my child's behavior, not necessarily for the worst. She is more social and picking up habits. Her classmates are the only children she interacts with daily, besides her 9 yr old sister. She has come along way because she would not talk to "outsiders " or even people at family events. So from being home mostly throughout the pandemic then daycare when she was 2 then here at age 3...Now she won't stop talking lol. Academically I know she will get better. She knew her alphabet and counting to about 12 at age 2 so just waiting to see a little more of what the teachers can pull out of her. All the staff I've encountered this far have been nothing short of kind. I'm so grateful for this center.

My son went to this school at 3 years old and learned so much over the years. The teachers are so loving and have patience. My baby just graduated this year and now my 2 year old is going here. He was born in the pandemic. First he would not talk but after starting early head start he learned so quickly. He talks way more saying full sentences and I love it. He started the beginning of this year when he was 1. I highly recommend this head start to all parents.

Great teachers and staff they really care about the kids. Very Thankful for Ms. Write Ms. Orr and Ms. Anderson.
