        The bank put an 10 day hold on a Cashier's Check issued by a well known bank. Chase refused to verify the check by contacting the issuing bank, refused to return the check, and refused to give the reason for the hold. The amount of the check was far less than $5000 which can result in a hold. One Bank employee even advised the check holder to say he'd lost the check. So Chase has the money in their coffers for 10 days and the check holder is out on a limb. This incident will be reported to FDIC.

        I had such an amazing experience. I am brand new to Chase and met with Anton to open a new account. He was so helpful and knowledgeable during our meeting.
