After enduring a grueling four-hour drive, I arrived at the hotel only to find an empty desk, leaving me standing around like a fool. Eventually, I had to endure an excruciating 10-minute wait while the incompetent hotel desk attendant chatted away on the phone, oblivious to my presence. When she finally deigned to acknowledge me, it became painfully clear that she was as clueless as she was inefficient. Despite my office having sent an authorization form, she fumbled around, unable to locate it, and to top it off, she confessed to accidentally wiping out the card details on file, the very card my office intended to pay with. Instead of offering a timely solution, she had the audacity to suggest I foot the bill myself or use my precious points, as if I would squander them on a work trip. Disgusted by such incompetence and lack of professionalism, I promptly took my business elsewhere, to Home 2 Suites, where I was greeted warmly and assured that they would resolve the issue come morning. IHG has not only lost a valued Diamond Elite member but has also gained a scathing review, while Hilton has gained a loyal new member.
Update to resonse: Your reply seems to downplay the situation; however, I must clarify that the manager never approached me. Instead, a newcomer was left to handle the matter alone on her first day. Given my long-standing patronage, I'm familiar with potential solutions that were overlooked. This isn't an isolated incident. Unfortunately, due to the incompetence displayed by your team, I'm forced to take my loyalty elsewhere. I'll be redeeming my 500,000 points and shifting my future stays to Hilton Home 2 Suites, which I find to be of superior quality.

Very nice newer hotel! I love that it has its own mini kitchen in it! Very roomy. Pool room is very nice, and very warm, but no hot tub. All though on the second night of our stay, the water seemed a little cloudy... the fount desk lady's where very nice and accommodating, and willing to help out. thank you staybridge for an amazing 3 night stay!
