Pro-Tec Repair

Our 5 year old LG refrigerator/freezer quit cooling but otherwise seemed to be running properly. Sadly, it was barely 2 months out of (extended) warranty. The national call in support had me try several things, none of which worked.. The place we bought it from does repair, but they couldn't schedule it sooner than over 2 weeks away!! Pro-Tec was able to get someone out the very next day. The technician, Dean, really knew his trade. He called me ahead of time and got the model and serial number to make sure he had the right parts. He said that model is notorious for compressor failure. Sure enough, when he arrived ( right on time), he diagnosed the problem as a failed compressor. Fortunately, the compressor has a 10-year warranty, and he had the part in his truck! 2 hours later it's working fine.

Excellent service. Very timely and professional. The tech that came was easy to deal with! Working from home, that was greatly appreciated. Would recommend them to anyone.

Dean from Protec Repair came and found the cause of a leak in my washer after another service came and made the problem worse. Jacob came, and replaced the defective part quickly. They have renewed my faith in good service.
