Still waiting on about 4 weeks now for my refund

The parking area is poorly lit and very dirty. The hallways and room smelled terrible. In the room the lamp shades were torn and stained. The chair was ripped / worn, and the table had smudges of something on it. We were told that the pool was "down for maintenance." Judging by the rest of the building - they don't do maintenance. Safety: We did not feel safe here.

This place is disgusting. The customer service is terrible. Immediately after checking in, I pulled around to the door closest to my room. I knew something seemed sketchy but still proceeded to give it a chance. The pool is actually closed but you wouldn't know that until you have checked in and start exploring the hotel. The room was dirty and smelled terrible like smoke. I immediately went to the front desk to tell them I wanted a refund and would be leaving, but since there is no manager on duty nothing could be done. She said to call corporate so I asked her for the number and she could not provide that to me. She was rude and should not be in the customer service business. I handed the key card back to her and left immediately. Choice hotel should pull their name from this hotel. It is absolutely a disappointment. Safety: Does not feel safe at all

The rooms were clean and tidy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms: Nice, quiet and clean Nearby activities: Lots of restaurants and shopping Walkability: It is located close enough to the restaurants and shopping so you can stroll down Miller Lane and get your belly full and can also walk to Walmart to do some shopping
