        Im a big fan of Bob Evans, after going to college in Ohio; but now that Im living on the East Coast I rarely get to visit one. My Husband & I visited the Defiance, Ohio Bob Evans in March, 2024. We found the atmosphere was very sleepy, almost bored. It was warm & clean on a cold, messy day, they absolutely get credit for a Clean place! The Sausage gravy seemed not as flavorful as in previous years, and the portions were not as impressive as they once were. Non-crispy hash browns, lackluster food overall, and while we had a Friendly and Capable waitress, she seemed to be busy doing other things when we needed her. Working, just not near our table. This is a similar experience to the one I had by myself in Feb of 2023, so I dont think I will continue to try Bob Evans. Used to love them, but not anymore.
