My cat was taken into this office for neuter and to be declawed. We were sent home without any pain medication and with no instructions informing us to be watching for pain. We had asked what after care instructions were necessary and we were told to watch for discharge and swelling, but we were never informed of how painful this procedure was or cats, nor were we told about pain medication options. We were told this was a very common procedure and that we only needed to peel off the bandages three days after the procedure, if the bandages didnt already fall off by then. Everything was fine at least we had thought, until today when we tried to take the bandages off. My cat was obviously distress and in a lot of pain. We tried calling the office at around 3:30 PM. The office was closed, assuming it is because of the eclipse. Since they were closed, we called another office nearby and requested an appointment. The personnel that we spoke to from another veterinary hospital, said that our cat should have been provided pain medication and instructions designed and intended to assist in the healing process. We have been very upset over how difficult and painful this process has been for our cat. This Has been an ordeal that was not necessary and couldve been easily avoided with proper treatment, understanding, and explanation of medication to help with pain. I do not recommend this hospital to other people.
