Hilliard Motor Lodge

I've never stayed at a place with landscaped flower beds. There were spring bulbs blooming right outside my door. This place is a lovely find. I was on an eclipse-tripping jaunt, and noticed all the crazy price gouging. Not here, which is why I selected it. The night clerk was pleasant and friendly, the room was clean and well appointed. I spent a couple hours on the loveseat checking my details for the eclipse viewing location -- very comfy. There's no breakfast or in-room coffee, but there's a Tim's right next door. Noteworthy details: Reminded me of the family car trips from the 1960s.

I absolutely love the atmosphere at this hotel. The workers are so very helpful and nice , they go out of their way to make sure you feel right at home. Not to mention that the owners are one of the most sweetest parents and one of nicest couples I have ever met. I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for over a year and I have no complaints at all. The prices are very reasonable and the rooms are nice and clean. And they are upgrading the place. So please if you want a reasonable place to stay at a great price give this hotel a try.
