They don't respond to requests to have films emailed to another dentist or to the patient directly. Three calls so far from myself and my new dental office and still nothing. Next call I make is to the dental board. I WILL get my films. Update: Received a call at 7:30am on the Saturday after I posted this to confirm the email address I want my films sent to and was told I would have them that day. Still waiting. They also seem to leave reviews on their listing to help bump their numbers up. Four phone calls, a threat to call the board and the insurance company, and this review and I finally have my films. Thank you.

I care for my elderly father who is a dialysis patient. He depends on me for transportation to appointments. He needs dental care. There are very few dentists in the area that take Medicaid. We found one retail dentist, one private dentist, and one community clinic dentist that only schedules at the beginning of each month IF THERE ARE AVAILABLE SLOTS. We made an appointment with The Dentist in Perrysburg. We received a text message the day before his first appointment. It said that the dentist had an emergency and needed to cancel our first appointment. We rescheduled for a week later. The day before our rescheduled appointment we received the same message. I called to reschedule giving him the benefit of the doubt because emergencies can mean there is a family issue that requires prolonged responsibility and attention. When I called the scheduler said He doesnt seem to be able to come in on Thursdays so lets schedule for a different weekday. Unfortunately, between dads dialysis schedule and my work schedule Thursdays are the only days we have available for appointments. My biggest concern is it appears this dentist really doesnt have emergencies and just doesnt come in on Thursdays according to the scheduler. Using emergencies as an excuse is an integrity issue. If you are not going to care for patients on Thursdays for whatever reason just close your availability as to NOT INCONVENIENCE patients. Needless to say we have scheduled with another dentist.
