        We spent 2 nights here while in town for an event at the Cintas center. Normally we stay in much higher star rated hotels but thought we would give it a chance. It has a different vibe, almost like a throw back Miami feel to it. The room did the job, the breakfast was decent, and the staff was friendly. You could tell they wanted to do a good job. I would stay here again if I was back in town.

        First experience at Blu. It's a Choice hotel brand, so get your points as a privilege member. Overall, good experience. Super fast check-in, which is one thing I prioritize. Great location with plenty of shopping, eating, and experiences. My king room was probably considered a suite and was huge. Nice mini fridge, microwave, bar area. Bed was comfy, but the 4 pillows were miniature sized. It seems to be an older building with lots of fresh paint and the decor, in my opinion, is outdated. All said, I would stay y here again but would look at my other options also. For those who care, outdoor pool only, no spa. Nearby activities: Close to dining, shopping, and entertainment.
