What I at first thought was this place was a good place to go. Turns out Im now $125 in the hole and nothing on my vehicle changed. I had called the night prior to get a quote on changing my crankshaft position sensor, I had the piece on hand, I just needed a professionals help. I wake up early just to drive my limping car up the street and go inside to talk to the same lady I spoke to the night prior. What I was told was the $125 pays the technician to find and solve the issue. I mentioned I just needed the sensor to be changed and if anything else was found to let me know. She said the technician will run multiple tests and get the problem resolved. I was also told my vehicle would be dropped off to me at my place of work which was the only reason why I left it in the first place, what eventually ended up happening was that I was told my vehicle needed over $3,400 worth of repairs, that of which included all 4 spark plugs, air induction service, and misfires in all four of my cylinders, also 3 of my engine mounts were apparently missing as well as a transmission mount. I was just coming to get a sensor swapped and now I have someone trying to charge me over 3 grand. The more I looked at the quote the worse it got. 4 spark plugs were $450 dollars, air induction service for $250 when its $100 at other places. The changing of my crankshaft sensor which is a plug and play part, that I could get to with my bare hands, just couldnt quite get it, that was $750 dollars. I now have a guy that will do it for $50. Not to mention the $1800 worth of motor mounts that were missing, 3 on my engine, one on my transmission. I could not under any circumstances get my vehicle back from them until they received payment, I had no choice but to fork over the little money I have right before Christmas and nothing on my vehicle changed. I got it back the same way I dropped it off, the sensor was still in the box untouched. Will never refer, recommend, talk about, or mention under any circumstances to anyone needed anything done on their vehicle, huge upsell Later edit after owner reply: I had actually called the night prior specifically asking how much it would cost to get the part installed, which I believe I stated in my review. I brought it inside and quite literally handed the sensor to the woman at the front saying I NEEDED it to be done. Thats why I brought it in the first place, not just in case it needs it.

Business Response on Google Dec 26th, 2023
Jaren, I am sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with our service. However, there seems to have been a misunderstanding about the information we provided you with. When you brought your 2015 Volkswagen Passat to our shop, your concern was, as stated on your repair order..."CUSTOMER STATES THERE WAS A CEL CODE A FEW WEEKS AGO FOR A SENSOR. CODE WAS CLEARED AND LIGHT HAS NOT RETURNED. HOWEVER, VEHICLE RPMS FLUX WHEN COASTING. CUSTOMER PURCHASED THE SENSOR IT PREVIOUSLY HAD A CODE FOR IN CASE IT NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED. CHECK AND ADVISE."After discussing your concern, you permitted us to perform our Level One testing to determine the exact issue, rather than just throwing a part on and hoping it works. Here are the notes, as stated on your repair order, that came directly from your technician after he performed the Level One testing: "Car has several codes for the pcv, camshaft position sensor failure, and misfires on all 4 cylinders. There is an extreme amount of vacuum being fed into the crankcase, there should only be pressure, not much at that. The PCV valve has failed and is pulling full manifold vacuum into the crankcase and pulling oil into the intake. This very well could be the culprit in the mis-fires. We will need to replace this part and I will recommend replacing the spark plugs and performing an air fuel service to clean up all the oil in the system.I would advise waiting on the camshaft position sensor/ VVT solenoid until after performing the above repairs and services. This issue can cause timing compensation issues and will throw codes for these sensors in return.I noticed a hard shift or movement when the car shifts. Further investigation revealed the 2 upper engine mounts, the lower engine mount and the lower transmission mount are all failing and allowing the engine and transmission assembly to rotate in the car. This is very bad for everything."You state in your review that you were told your engine mounts are missing. As you can see in the notes from your technician, that is not the information you were given at my shop. The quote we gave you included the cost of replacing those engine mounts. It is our job and our goal to ensure the safety of our customers in the vehicles they drive, as well as to advise our customers in the maintenance of their vehicles. We made you aware of issues we found while your vehicle was in our shop, and left the decision to you on what items to care of. You opted to not get any repairs done at the time.not the information you were given at my shop. The quote we gave you included the cost of replacing those engine mounts.
