Worst landlord. Had to move into one of their properties after a house fire and came into a dirty home. Had animal feces on the doors in one room and floors smelled of urine. Everytime I had a Maintenance request I got a call from Chris and he had me try to fix the issue I stead of coming to do it. Also showed up on a different day than I scheduled and got irritated when he couldn't come in. He knew I had to have my dogs put up. And that's the point of setting up an appointment. Kept most of my deposit even though the house was spotless when I left. I have pictures of every room to prove it. Never set up a final walk through with me like it states in the lease. His wife is completely rude and money Hungry. Preach about God and the Bible then take advantage of the tenants. Raised the rent and wearied another 775 out of my insurance company even though I wasn't living in the home anymore. Worst experience ever. So glad to be back in my home. I knew as soon as I heard his name it was going to be a horrible experience. If I had a choice between him as a landlord or staying at the motel we were at I would have chosen the motel 6. Charged for cleaning as you can tell from the pictures the house was absolutely cleaned! Charged for carpets to be cleaned even though I had themshampoed. Said I left junk furniture and clearly the house is empty. Reply: As per the pictures I have posted the carpet was fine when I left. And when compared to the pictures of the house before it actually looked better. The smell was there when I moved in. I have plenty of witnesses and also said something to the woman who showed the house. I worked hard to rebuild my life and possessions after house fire so nothing was left behind. If there was something as you claim why was it not brought to my attention? Why was a final inspection set up with me as per your lease? Lease also states a deposit will not be used as a last month's rent payment as you claim in your response. I also did send in the paperwork for my dogs. I took them all to the vet and spent a lot of money to get them all updated and legal. Still have the receipt! I'm just so happy I'm out of that house and will never again have to go through that.
