Just over a year ago, I moved from the east coast to Oklahoma City because I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work as a flight instructor at Oklahoma Aviation. I would highly recommend Oklahoma Aviation to any flight training professional/aviator. What drew me to OA throughout my interview process was the overall professional image of the people, resources, and aircraft fleet. This includes a fully glass-panel fleet that also features air conditioning and auto-pilot systems. To my knowledge, there isn't another flight school in the immediate area that even scratches the surface in comparison to quality and dependability of aircraft. Owning two full-motion Redbird Simulators only adds to the strength of their fleet and resources. Also, OA's management is not only in-house, but is visible and actively seeks ways to make flight school operations safer and more enjoyable for both instructors and clients. Another critically important asset Oklahoma Aviation brings to the table is a dependable maintenance program. OA maintains a strong, professional relationship with AvionAero (located directly across the ramp from the Atlantic FBO at KPWA). AvionAero is highly responsive and detail-oriented in their approach to handling aircraft maintenance. Not once in my time flying with OA was I ever concerned about the quality of maintenance that was performed on an aircraft. Finally, my most memorable takeaway from Oklahoma Aviation is the people. From clients, to co-workers, to management - I was blessed to form so many great friendships. If you do this job the right way, so many of your clients are going to become life-long friends. I'll always be grateful to Sho for the opportunity he gave me to work at Oklahoma Aviation. If you're in the Oklahoma City area and you're seeking a first-class, client-oriented flight training facility, OA is your home.

If you are looking to pursue aviation as a career or if you have an interest in flying recreationally, then I highly recommend that you attend Oklahoma Aviation. They have a wonderful team of highly professional Flight Instructors that are extremely dedicated in making sure that you reach your goals. I attended Oklahoma Aviation in order to obtain my Multi Engine Commercial Certificate in the DA42 NG and I must say that everyone should get a chance to fly this airplane. The maintenance personnel were far beyond satisfaction, leaving absolutely no issues with the airplane during my training. I would also like to give credit to the amazing staff that handles the administrative side of the team, for they always seemed to make the students a priority with their urgency in taking care of any concerns, especially for Veterans using the GI-Bill. Thank you Oklahoma Aviation!
