Carmen from Proof Construction is an absolute gem! I recently had a concern about a potential hole and leak in my roof. Carmen responded on the day i called. Her promptness and professionalism were just the beginning. During her inspection, Carmen displayed remarkable thoroughness, meticulously checking for holes and shingle damage. Her attention to detail was evident as she skillfully fixed loose and/or rusted nails, applied caulk where necessary, fixed the leak in my roof, and even went the extra mile to sweep the roof clean. What truly sets Carmen apart is her friendly demeanor combined with an undeniable expertise in roofing. She not only addressed the immediate concerns but also ensured that my roof was in top condition, preventing future problems. 2 years ago this group did a renovation of a home we had just purchased and while we were hopeful at the time that it would be last g and the job was done well, using the supplies for flooring and other things it has not proven to be the case. The flooring we used, at their recommendation, was supposed to be waterproof hard wood and two rooms have been replaced since their work, and now the flooring in the kitchen is coming up at the edges. We called them with the first room that we had to replace, left messages at their office and with Ashley to receive no callback from anyone, and now the wood planks are loose at the edges and will have to be redone at some point. We were left with no extra flooring planks from the jobs or supplies that we paid for, besides some paint that was left over. I really would go with another company for your renovation and project needs as this has been quite the disappointment for our home. We had other problems while the work was being done, but never dreamed that it would be ongoing for years to come. We spent a lot of money on this project and have been disappointed in the quality that we were promised. We did try to communicate with them but it was a failure.

The 2023 Fathers Day storm dropped a tree through our roof, destroying one end of our house, including a laundry room, bathroom, and garage. We hired Proof Construction as our general contractor. Proof immediately tarped the roof to prevent further damage. Proof met with the insurance adjuster, whose first assessment omitted many items of damage. Proof documented the omissions, and our insurance company continued to drag its feet. One big issue was that the insurance company didnt want to replace our whole roof. So Proof hired an engineer and, when that didnt work, an independent adjuster. The result was that our insurance covered everything. The difference was many tens of thousands of dollars. Proof handled all communications with the insurance company, saving us effort and stress. We kept expecting to hear that the insurance companys recalcitrance was our problem, but that never happened. In spite of all the difficulties with the insurance company, Proofs final charges to us were exactly as they had agreed in advance. Proof employed an array of roofers, carpenters, and others. They were capable, personable, and respectful. When Proof used subcontractors, such as plumbers and electricians, Proof stood behind their work and made them fix any imperfections. Proof communicated with them, rather than expecting us to do so. Proof is owned by Brian Morris. He was optimistic and empathetic. He was an excellent listener and a perfectionist. He communicated with us almost daily throughout the process, and he never delegated that to subordinates. This was the kind of project that would have been a nightmare with a lesser contractor. We are lucky to have found Proof Construction. We recommend them enthusiastically.
