Being a life long member of State Farm, Ive had excellent experience until moving to this agent office. The lack of transparency & communication is unethical & unacceptable. When you mess with my money & dont provide an answer or a response, its unacceptable.

Mike was fast, courteous and had the best prices I found for home/auto. He wasnt pushy at all. He just laid out the facts and let us decide. I asked for a quote at noon and had everything I needed to make a decision within the hour. Excellent customer service.

The team is nice, and Im sure that based on the reviews below, many people have had a positive experience with this team. I cannot say the same. My previous experience with State Farm at the Matt Spence office was one of strong, quick communication and prudent review of any policy changes/changes in premium total. Unfortunately, my wife and I had to move offices due to distance, so we decided to find an office closer to home. That said, weve been with the Chris Mathurin team for around eight months, and the communication issues from this team ultimately have led us to end our time with this team. 1. We met with the team back in early summer of 2023, and we reviewed our policy and made sure that our information was correct. My wife and I were told that we would receive a follow up email, but we did not. I realized almost six months later that we did not receive this, and I had to email them to receive the follow up information. It seemed at the time to just be a coincidence, but we were still frustrated that the first point of contact resulted in failed communication. 2. After this point, our house premium went up by almost $30/month with no explanation. I emailed the office with the office email displayed on my State Farm account and requested to know why our policy premium increased drastically and why we were not notified. I did not hear back, but I waited a couple of weeks as again, my previous experience with State Farm was strong communication, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. 3. I finally called the office, and I could not get a hold of an agent, but I was told some possible reasons my premium went up by the front desk. These reasons required further discussion/explanation with an agent, and I was told to forward my email that I had previously sent to a specified agent and verified that the spelling was correct. I was promised that I would receive an email back within a business day. That was on February 23rd; as of this writing on March 15th, I still have not heard back. This team seems to mean well, but I cannot in good faith say anything else positive about our experience nor would I recommend them to anybody in our area looking for a new agent.
