If I could give zero stars I would. Alona was super nice when we were working with her but as we decided to go with another company she was rude and ghosted the new company with sending our appraisal. When we were considering going with guild, they sent us a loan estimate with discount points over 3k and didnt tell us what for. I asked and she told me it was something completely different. When I got a rate from another company and sent them what guild sent, they said that the discount points are used to buy down the rate. When I asked Alona she said that because they were giving us 1k off closing they went ahead and used that to buy down our rate when we were not informed that we were paying for the rate we got from the beginning. She advertised that her rate was organic to the company and not because we were buying it down. I told her we decided to go with the other company and she began being rude and combative with me. She said that she would match their rate when I said I was going with them and would not let us go peacefully. She was sending several emails saying how guild was better and being very abrasive even though guild was not matching their rates. After I repeatedly told her no, she ghosted not only me, but also the company we decided to go with when we were trying to pay and receive our appraisal. She waited so long that we had to go through the VA to get it and we missed our closing date due to this company. I would not recommend guild mortgage to my worst enemy. They are extremely unprofessional and should not be in business. If you are looking for a lender, please look into Cross Country Mortgage as they are the BEST company that we have ever used to buy a home. They picked up all the broken pieces from guild and completely turned them around. Stay far away from guild mortgage. Their business plan is robbing first time home buyers and making them believe that they are getting a good deal.

Me and my wife were working with this company and Alona . After telling her we no longer wanted to work with her she purposely held onto our appraisal which made us miss our closing date . Mind you my wife drove 10 HOURS and spent money on a hotel to be able to close on this home since we do not live in the area as of now . This is the WORST company . If you want high rates and rude lenders to work with sure go ahead. Thankfully we have cross country mortgage helping us fix THEIR MESS !

I totally recommend Alona. She helped us soooo much with our process on buying our home. She is very knowledgeable with everything. We are first time home buyers so I had alot of questions and things I needed explained to me, and she always was there to answer them. (At times I felt like I had some "silly questions", but she never made me feel less or I never felt uncomfortable) Hands down she will be my go to in the future and definitely will keep her in my contacts. Totally recommend her!!
