Econo Lodge McAlester

The breakfast was an absolute joke. Don't believe the lie when they tell you deluxe continental breakfast. Nor was the pricing what was advertised. Smallest bathroom I've ever encountered in a motel. However, the bed was super comfortable, a were the pillows. Not very accommodating for the elderly. My grandmother says the bed was too high, and the toilet was too low. She said she will never stay there again. I probably wouldn't either, simply for the breakfast, or lack thereof.

My room was nice, however upon check in I was given a sheet of paper that I signed because their credit card machine was down. The paper supposedly allows them to run the card in the morning which is fine, next morning I log in to see I was charged for my room on the same day they said couldnt be charged and a charge for Uber in California for 10$. When I was checking in my card and ID was taken into the back room with the door shut and it felt sketchy. I logged into my bank account next day to check because I had a feeling. Boom. Random Uber charge. I would say if you stay here, have them run the card in front of you. However I would not trust this establishment. Ive had a similar experience at a hotel in the past and same thing. Its not hard to piece together.
