Viera Vivian MD

Dr. Viera is a great family Dr. and I love her staff. She really cares about her patients and makes sure I get the care I need. Ive been going to her for about a year and a half and will continue for as long as I can.

They are nice people. They at times take a bit to respond back to calls, but it's because there is only one secretary so she has a lot to deal with. Vivian was really nice about explaining each step of the process. You will wait a bit in the waiting room though.

I feel I need to speak out about this nutty doctor and how unprofessional she and her staff are. My son and my husband have been going to her for about a year and they both are extremely frustrated with her. Her office hours are supposed to be Monday through Thursday 9am to 6pm and closed from like 11 to 1 for lunch, BUT they do NOT actually keep those hours or days on any kind of regularity what so ever. They often times do not even answer their phone!! They rarely call you back and the doctor requires you to schedule an appointment for absolutely everything! My son has an MRI scheduled tomorrow and he's very claustrophobic so he called to make sure he would be able to be given 1 ten milligram diazepam before he goes into the MRI machine and that idiotic doctor is requiring him to take off work yet again so he can go pay her his copay so that she will ok it that he receive 1 diazepam before his MRI and she just saw him a week ago!! She's doing nothing but abusing the system and collecting health insurance payments and copays from patients when it's COMPLETELY unnecessary to require an appointment. On top of all that she keeps patients with scheduled appointments waiting and waiting for hours. Hope it was worth it to her because she has just lost 2 patients! Unprofessional doesn't begin to decribe her!

Absolute worst experience I have ever had with a Doctor. If I could give no stars, I would. Dr. Viera is completely unprofessional, apathetic, and rude. She should not be allowed to practice medicine. Will never return and would never recommend her to anyone.
