Just bought a 7 year old Timbercraft home and the quality is frightening. They literally painted the cabinets after the install and painted right over the hinges. Very very poor craftsmanship. Im afraid of whats hidden if they do this kind of work on what I CAN see. Remodel in progress.

UPDATE: Within a couple hours of posting this review, I had a phone call from someone at Timbercraft. After a couple back and forth calls, all of our complaints have been fixed. While I dont think this list would have ever been completed without this review, I will say we do love our house and the building process was wonderful. I hope they continue to work on following through with their customers after closing. Our house building process was wonderful. Everyone was attentive and the build went smoothly. However, as it came time to close there were a ton of small things unfinished. For example, paint touch ups, a broken board on the back patio, etc. We wrote all of these in the closing paperwork and were told they would be finished. We have lived in this house for a year and less than half of the items are done. They replaced the board on the back porch but did not paint it. The ceiling in the master bath is unfinished, our kitchen cabinet doors have been fixed three times and are still barely hanging on. Miguel and Austin have both come for walk throughs to see the issues and promised items would be fixed next week. One YEAR later we are still waiting. Service: Predesigned floor plans for homes

Timbercraft salesmen will lie to your face and there are no consequences. They make false promises and have no one to answer to like a licensed realtor. The homes are low-mid quality. Weve lived in this house for 18 months and its falling apart. The foundation has problems and they have yet to fix. Our living room even has a slight slope! The house doesnt contain temperature because the cheap materials used. I understand structural problems but their salesmen lied to us and theres nothing we can do about it. With the information he withheld (straight up lied about) we wouldnt have moved here. All we get is things change 0 stars if I could. Honest people deserve your business. Not snake oil salesmen. Their realtors and contractors also have no regard for your neighborhood. They will leave it trashed and one of their associates even cussed our neighbors out for playing with their kids outside when there was a high value client Oh well though right? They will keep this behavior up because no one actually cares about people, just $$$$

We were blown away by the incredible service we have received from Timbercraft Homes. After a different builder failed to get our home done in time to preserve our interest rate lock, we became fearful of the devastating financial impact this would have on our young family. Forced to look for other options, we came across a beautiful Timbercraft home that was finished and on the market so we reached out to them to see if there was any way they could get us moved in within four weeks, which was when our rate lock would expire (Corey Watson was the rep we have worked with from the start and his service has been impeccable - no one better in the business than this guy). They were not only able to do that, but they got us in even quicker than we anticipated. We were in our home within three weeks, with closing on the day before Thanksgiving. Timbercraft not only new it would mean a lot to us to be in our new home before the holidays, but they also cared - something that we have discovered is hard to find in other competing builders. What had become one of the most stressful times in our lives (including having to deal with threatened litigation from the other builder) was quickly transformed into one of the happiest and most exciting times of our lives, all thanks to Timbercraft Homes. Please do yourself a favor and choose to build with Timbercraft. They truly do care about their clients and will do all they can to make this experience a positive one.
