I purchased a new home from Home Creations. They refused to honor an agreement per details below. Since I have never posted a negative review about any company before this, I reached out to quite a few officers in this company, including four members of the family that owns the company. On Jan 19, 2023, my realtor and I sat down with their representative to negotiate the purchase of a home. When we tried to negotiate for the inclusion of installed blinds, the representative said that this house was marked down as low as possible and that the prices were going to be raised in two weeks. I agreed to purchase the house with the stipulation that the company would provide the blinds if they did not in fact, raise prices. To this, he called his boss on speakerphone. We all four agreed on this deal and moved back the deadline (for the price raise) from two weeks to three. This was not ambiguous in any way--the language was clear on both sides. I have a price sheet that was used as the agreed-upon reference point. It is initialed by my realtor and by a representative of the builder. I also have a price sheet initialed by the same two people at the agreed-upon 3 week period (0 price change). They refused to honor the agreement and as mentioned above, will not return my calls or emails. I realize that my acceptance of a verbal contract was foolhardy, but it was based on my realtors belief in the integrity of this company. I still regard my realtor highly; I assume that he wont be directing any more clients in their direction anymore. Granted, this is not a lot of money; just the principle that they didnt stand behind their word. Service: Home building
