We called Repipe Specialists after consulting and getting bids from other companies. Blake came out, walked thru the house, noted the issues we had before and what could be done to prevent issues with pipes breaking in the future. Gave us a quote that saved us some money, scheduled an appointment. On day of work, several crew members showed up on time, walked thru the home and began work. The work was completed in one day and everyone in the crew was very nice and communicated to us any special needs they were going to have to make. The following week, the sheetrock repair crew arrived and within a few hours all was repaired and we were able to arrange for tile work to be done in an area where tile in a bathroom needed to be cut out. Since the job has been done we have a feeling of relief knowing our pipe issues have been resolved. In addition it seems we have better water flow to all our faucets, especially hot water.

My husband and I contacted Repipe Specialists when we were starting a remodel and realized we had polybutalene pipes. Blake came out and quoted a price for the job. He explained that the job would be more expensive due to our vaulted ceilings, and the need to run the pipe around the house. We explained to Blake that our remodel would include a new attic space and that the vaulted ceiling would no longer be an issue, and asked if this part of the job could be completed during that phase of the remodel to make the job less expensive. He stated that they would only be there one or two days, and would not be able to come back. A date was set to do the work to coincide with our remodeling. However, a few days before repipe was to come, we received a call that our job would need to be rescheduled to several weeks later. This delay caused problems with our remodeling project that we had to work out. When repipe came to do the work, we quickly realized that the job had been subcontracted to a local plumber. This plumber recommended that the pipes in the back part of the house be replaced, and that they would come back to do the part that was being remodeled after the new attic space was created. This would make the job significantly easier, and less material would be required. We called Blake, who was surprised that the plumber and his crew had not done the job all at once, and that they had recommended (as we had previously requested) that the job be done in two parts to make it easier and more cost effective. We asked Blake for a better price on the job as labor and materials would be much less. He said his best offer was to give us $500 off of the total price. We asked to speak with his supervisor, and he said that he was the only person we could speak with. We reluctantly accepted the $500 off and electronically signed a new finance agreement. It has now been more than a month since we signed our new paperwork, and the finance company has yet to receive the new agreement. We texted Blake, and he acted like he had no recollection of our new agreement. He finally said he found our new agreement and would take care of it. Another 2 weeks has passed, and the finance company still had yet to receive our new agreement with the discount. Rather than hiring Repipe Specialists, we recommend that you call local plumbing companies and get quotes. We would not have agreed on a price if we had known we were dealing with a salesman who didn't really know what he was talking about. The lack of research was our fault. We were in a hurry due to trying to coordinate with our remodeling project. Learn from our mistake and do your research first. We now realize that we could have had a quality job, completed by a local company, for 15% to 20% less money.

Repipe Specialists did a fantastic job replacing my polybutylene pipes with uponor pex a. They use the expansion kit and that is the way to go. It's more durable and has less leaks than using the crimping tool. The crew showed up on time, they were all wearing matching shirts and drove matching work vans. The crew chief went through the house with me and reviewed the work to be performed. They were professional, they worked as a team and it was obvious they knew what they were doing. They cleaned everything up as they worked and at the end. The crew that came to fix the holes in my sheetrock worked in the exact same manner. Our 4 1/2 year old house was originally plumbed with defective pipe and we had 5 major leaks so obviously needed a repiping. I contacted Blake Warner with Repipe Specialists and he immediately did a virtual walkthrough of my house, gave me a quote, and scheduled the job.
