They waited till 3 days before closing to lock my rate in. I was under the impression it was locked in when we made the offer and sign the initial loan documents. All paperwork had the % rate we thought we were locked in at and then 3 days before closing it jumped up and they locked in. Im very disappointed at how all of this was handled. I was told its my fault for not catching it wasnt locked in. I was also told i asked for it not to be locked in, which is not true. With rates being all over the place right now you would be crazy not to lock in. We relied on their professional to guide us and look out for us. Run from this lender. This has made what should have been an exciting time for us a nightmare.

Honesty is one of our core values at American Bank of Oklahoma and I feel confident that you were treated with that value in tact.It's always disappointing to hear that a customer is not happy, but in this instance it appears there is nothing more to be done here.
