My mother goes to dialysis here 3 times a week. As anyone would, she dreads this every time she has to go. There was one employee there though that always made her feel comfortable and happy. This employee always went the extra mile, which as family we truly appreciate. This employee was fired from her job on 12/28/18 for "being too nice". Is that truly a thing in that profession, when you have patients coming in there knowing they have to do this or die? One of mom's biggest complaints is that the employees always act so somber and do not talk. These patients are hooked up to these machines 3-4 hours at a time and the employees can't carry on a conversation or even allowed to speak? I know they have to be attentive to medical concerns, which my mother has also had several times there.
This is very disappointing, since when is it bad to be nice and caring? We wonder what's happened to this country, this is a fine example. the patients are just another number, not a person.
