We had a privacy fence installed by Davis Fence Co. They were very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. There were a couple SNAFUs but Allan and Cynthia came over in the evening and helped to make things right. The job was started on a Tuesday and completely done by Thursday. The finished product looks great. We would highly recommend.

We recently bought a house and the existing chain link fence was missing an entire section and posts. I had reached out to another company, but they came out to access it and give us a quote - then a month later- ghosted us and never returned any calls or emails. Davis Fence came out the day I called to give us a quote and the section was fixed and done three days later! We are trying to decide on whether to get a privacy wooden fence or vinyl- we will definitely use them when we get ready. Service: General repairs & maintenance

Called to get an estimate of pricing for a small fence job (a few thousand dollars). I spoke to Cynthia and she was vey nice on the phone. I was provided an estimate to which I had follow-up questions. I spoke again with Cynthia but as the questions were technical in nature, Allen Davis (the owner) took over the call. I thanked him for making the time to speak with me an we proceeded to discuss the details. We agreed that he would stop by the house, put some flags and send me some pictures and I appreciated his level of effort since I was not currently in Stillwater. He said he was going to write up a contract and "the way it works is you pay 75% down and 25% upon job completion." I told him I thought it was strange that he wanted such a large percentage down and he let me know that's how they've always done it. I said, I understand and asked him to proceed and "I believe this will be a non-issue." He responded with "we'll let's do this." Something I didn't expect thinking that maybe they were tight on funds or they have a lot of jobs that I would just proceed with as is. However, this seemed to be a nice guy and maybe wanted to make an exception since I was an out of town customer, perhaps a 50% split. Instead he said "we'll let's do this, I'll pass on the job and you can go get someone else to do your fence." "You already have an issue with me and ..." Long story short, I passed on him working the job as he was unable to grasp the difference between an actual issue and a conversation seeking clarity. 0 stars if I could. I asked Mr. Davis to get a permit and get the proper standoff info from the city. He neglected to do so. After he completed the job, I received notice from the city that it was 10' to close to the the center of the road, and did not meet code, and that we would need to move the fence back to the proper stand off, which was 10' further back from the road. I attempted to contact Mr Davis about 15 times and he refused to call us back, this project was for the Girl Scouts, and it cost the council funds that they did not have to move the fence back themselves. I felt that Mr Davis was not professional at all in not even returning any calls, and he just walked away, and left the Girl Scouts having to do a job that he should have done right to begin with.
