I encourage anyone and everyone to not go into this program it is a scam. This charity does not help people they use and steal from you and Stillwater Housing Authority helps. Im currently fighting a fair housing rights complaint through them for suing under a false name that is not registered with Secretary of State for compensation that they are not entitled to. Their transitional living program is not registered through HUD and they have a contract that allows them to get over on people who dont know their rights. If you do go through them for services make sure you get a copy of all contracts especially the HAP agreement because that is where they will get you. I was called out of my name by Terry the assistant manager for exercising my rights as a tenant. Apparently they dont know that if you sign a contract and pay rent you are considered a tenant not a client. Lois is not a real case worker but she is given confidential information from Stillwater housing authority about clients cases that she is not entitled to. Jana is the director and didnt like the fact that I made her take me to court to evict me the proper way apparently she felt like she was above the law and was proven wrong. There are a lot of resources out there so make sure you look into anything that you sign because this company is fraudulent.

There are only two decent staff members the rEst make you feel like a burden for literally anything. They also kicked me out on the streets for a two liter bottle being on the floor

Im honestly heartbroken by the mistreatment from this facility and violation of my rights. A place that people should be able to go and get resources and guidance from, actually helps a company others in making peoples lives harder. Im currently in a transitional Living program through Mission of Hope that HUD is suppose to help fund and support clients to get back financially on their feet however thats not the case. Me and my husband and our 3 year old daughter have been mistreated and rights violated by the director, case manager and staff members not only through Mission of Hope but Stillwater Housing Authority. We reported that were being overly charged by Mission of Hope falsely reporting income to Stillwater Housing Authority. The case manager at Stillwater Housing Authority did confirm the discrepancy and said that we had until the 1st to get it corrected which we had no problem with. she informed us that she had to get permission from the Director at Mission Of Hope for approval which was denied and we were told by the director that if we had a problem we could leave if we didnt like their rules. It had nothing to do with not liking the rules we just needed to report accurate income which is apart of our Lease agreement with HUD.
