Very lovely park and the trail was such a plus. Plenty to do here. I love the nature walk and the fresh air. You can also do some great fishing here.
Nearby activities: Nice nearby lake and park to go to. There also a nice trail you can take. Very refreshing
Walkability: Everything is close within walking distance

I have a hard time writing this review, the place is not really what is advertised on their website at all. The owner was kind and helpful but there was no breakfast, and our room smelled very moldy, visible hair and dirt around, ceiling was in need of very serious repair. But the A.C. and T.V. did work well.
If you are just looking for a bed and like "charming" that teeters on the edge of.... something else, this would work for you. If you have kids then maybe not or if you have sensitive lungs or eyes as the moldy air was irritating to me. It is hard to write a poor review, considering perhaps the owner kept it up in the past and was helpful with his information. The location can't be beat. Loved the art on the walls, the cats milling around outside and sitting on the front porch.
But the bathroom floors were very uneven, bumpy, lots of structural issues. But does this matter for just one night? Not sure.
