Hood and Associates did not file my taxes on time!
My partner and I submitted our information at the same time and worked with the same employees, then he started getting notifications that I was not receiving. I called 3-4 times to check in and was reassured each time that everything was received and being filed. Turns out they did not file my taxes on time and had to file for an extension due to complete negligence on their part. I do not recommend this company.

PLEASE I am begging you, do not have your taxes done here. Worst experience OF MY LIFE. My husband has his business taxes done here (which started back in January) and we were waiting on those to be completed before they could do our personal. The business taxes were not done until SEPTEMBER. Then our personal taxes were not done until OCTOBER 3RD. 10 MONTHS of them working on our taxes. That's utterly ridiculous. We had a meeting scheduled with Hunter Webster in April to go over the taxes which I took PTO for as it was in the middle of the day and when we showed up, he wasn't there because he forgot and didn't put it on his schedule. So we had to schedule another appointment which I had to take more PTO off for and honestly, the meeting was pointless. Since then, we have been bounced around to 15 different people and told 15 different things, after having to explain our situation 15 different times because no one knew what was going on. I was told every time I called that they were waiting on my W-2 which I sent to Hunter Webster back on May 8th and I have email proof. We were told once, that they didn't know what happened or why, but our taxes were put in limbo status. I finally spoke to Brianna Lopez on August 24th an she said, "I am so sorry. There is no reason it should have taken this long for your taxes to be done. I will find out and call you back within the week." FOUR WEEKS LATER I FINALLY got in touch with someone and was told the same thing I had been told, "They are working on them". MIND YOU our extension date is this Monday 10/16. We didn't even receive our return back until yesterday 10/12 to sign. We told them we were not paying for their services as it took TEN MONTHS to complete them and we were told it would be waived. Now they are saying we owe them $360 before they will file our taxes. So we are stuck in this hell and have to pay them for their HORENDOUS service. DO NOT DO YOUR TAXES HERE. I AM WARNING YOU. ****RED FLAG****
