Many efforts were made to upgrade the old building, including installing cashless washers and dryers and key-less entry. Every time I had a problem, Lecia was there to help out in every way she could.

I am regretfully compelled to share my disheartening experience at Coliseum Apartments. Despite being a tenant who was only present in the apartment once or twice a month, sometimes even less, my experience was far from satisfactory. The living conditions were appalling, with a persistent roach infestation, visible mold in various parts of the apartment, and incredibly loud neighbors. The walls were so thin that every conversation and movement from adjacent units was audible, disrupting my peace and privacy even during my infrequent stays. Despite these challenges and my limited time spent in the apartment, I maintained my responsibilities as a tenant, paying rent and taking care of the property. However, when it was time to move out, the management agreed to return my deposit but never followed through. Repeated attempts to address this issue have been ignored, leaving me feeling cheated and disrespected. It's disheartening to see Coliseum Apartments neglect basic living standards and tenant agreements. I strongly advise potential renters to consider other options, as this complex has shown a lack of concern for both property maintenance and tenant rights, even for those who barely live on the premises. Update: Following my review and the certified letters I sent, John and Lecia promptly mailed my $500 deposit, which I received within four days. I appreciate their eventual responsiveness in this matter. However, I must note a troubling pattern of dishonesty and retaliation from these owners. This experience speaks volumes about their character and what potential renters might expect if they choose to commit to this establishment. Consider this a warning. Thank you.

If I could give negative stars I would. The managers are shady and that goes for the old ones also. Sonny and John do not conduct themselves in a professional matter whatsoever. I would not rent from someone who are about scamming people out of their money. John was unapologetic and lacked any sympathy for the mess that sonny fled the country from. He stole money and my personal information and the new management was aware of him fleeing the country. John (the new owner) wanted to have us pay another $40 on top of the $50 that I have previously paid for because he failed to get any applications from sonny prior to him running away. I would highly recommend not renting from them.

Daughter paid $50 for an application fee to a guy name Sonny then no call back. Then finally reached John who said Sonny sold him the building and Sonny is in India and can't be reached. John said she needs to pay another $40 application fee because thats what it costs to run a background check, wouldn't request the $50 from Sonny. Not the proper way to do business!
