Okay, first the good. They have very good quality gear. I compared all of the main online companies when I was looking for good quality first aid kits. I went with Chinook Medical Gear, because I liked the quality and comprehensiveness of their kits. I received my kit and all of the contents are current with long expiration dates. Good Stuff! Now for the not so good. The majority of online stores allow you to see current inventory, something most of us have come to expect. That's currently not available on the Chinook site. That's not a huge deal. The biggest issue. as I see it, is the lack of order information. I actually placed an order for a large first aid kit 4 weeks before a big group camp outing, thinking I'd have plenty of time. According to the website, if an order is going to be delayed more than 2 weeks, you will be contacted. I waited two weeks, no updates. I waited a couple more days, no updates. I finally emailed sales asking for an update. Yes, my order was going to be delayed. Sorry, no one contacted you. I cancelled that order, because it wasn't going to arrived in time. We had to figure out a "plan b". Sometime later, I was looking to purchase a first aid kit for personal use. I didn't have a time constraint, so I decided to give Chinook another shot and see if my first experience was a fluke. I placed the order on Sept. 15th. Like before, I didn't hear anything, no order updates. I waited for two weeks, still nothing. Again, if the order is going to be delayed, the website says you'll be notified. I contacted sales via email, asking for an order update. Yes, my order is delayed for more than 2 weeks. Sorry that nobody contacted you. We think it will ship Oct. 1st. Finally, on Oct. 7th, the order ships and I receive it on Oct. 11th. I don't think that 3 weeks is terrible. I understand that supply chains are still messed up due to COVID. If I would have been updated as I was told I was going to be, that would have made ALL the difference. I had expectations based on the info on the website. When I'm told what to expect and it doesn't happen, that leads to frustration.

Chinook Medical Gear is incredible! Their commitment to providing quality products and assisting customers is top of the line across the industry. No wonder they are growing so much. I love their custom kits. Simple process, good prices, great product, perfect experience

It has been over a year since COVID had been around; perhaps you should update the web info so people know that they can't come in.

Don't be mistaken...you are buying high end, top of the line, gear. No it's not the cheapest out there but man does it take a beating and these guys back their gear. I've been teaching medical in Northern India (Indian Himalayas) and this stuff just keeps on going. I'm also able to source products for our nonprofit that I just can't get anywhere else. Not only is the gear top notch but the sales staff is second to none. Super responsive and always spot on. NOT ONE order has ever been messed up. These guys have earned our business!
