        I ordered the tuna sandwich on rye with cheddar with a side of coleslaw today, January 1, 2024 at 2PM at the TULSA location. It was HORRIBLE. There was barely any tuna on the bread and I could not find any cheese. The coleslaw was a piece of lettuce (?) with shredded carrot and cabbage with a gob of salad dressing on top. Nothing was mixed and the portion size was tiny. I've been here before and the food was great. This was an insulting portion and I left hungry. Oh, and there was no regular coffee creamer available; only two flavored choices. Our waiter was wonderful. My husband's food was fine.

        Nice, clean dining area. Food could have been warmer. No bread or roll served with our dinner entre. Waitress was nice.

        We decided to try black bear diner again. We use to live in Redding CA and went to that one. This is/was the best breakfast ever!! Jared our waiter took care of our every want. Thank you we will be back Kid-friendliness: Our grand baby loves this place

      In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA.
