We used their services for several years. They failed to file in time, and only after they came back from their hiatus filed the return. I wouldn't have minded if they were honest about it. We all make mistakes. But they were not. Months later the IRS sent us a notice that my filing was incorrect. This year, they scheduled us and sent us a confirmation email in the days leading up to our appointment. When we arrived, their doors were locked, and the business was closed. We drove 30 minutes to their office. I left voicemail and emails, none of which were returned. We transitioned to another tax filing service, and he found multiple errors in my previous years filings with Pelican. I'd rather not gamble with something that could result in the IRS finding me at fault for something. I also won't work with an unethical, untrustworthy, or dishonest business. I'm disappointed with you guys.
