In a sentence, they are extremely customer focused, highly professional and skilled. I contracted with McHenry after talking to many of the major contractors in the area and then talking to some previous McHenry customers, all of whom spoke very highly of the professionalism of this group. The kitchen and 2 bathrooms were renovated, meaning new cabinets, quartz countertops, lighting and sinks in all 3 rooms. New LVT flooring in both bathrooms and one new tile shower. McHenry is about so much more than just getting the job done. They are about quality and customer satisfaction through and through. The job was completed on schedule and on budget. Everyone I worked with at McHenry was focused on very, very high quality work and a deep attention to detail. There were a couple of small issues that were the result of sub contractors, but McHenry fixed them without hesitation. I can't speak highly enough of the entire crew. They had wonderful suggestions for some improvements that really added up to a better result. I asked for a few last minute changes and they were very accommodating. They worked with me on all aspects of the project, making suggestions as appropriate and at the same time listening to my preferences.

Our kitchen remodel was recently completed by McHenry Remodeling and we couldn't be happier! All of the staff who worked with us were great-- professional and helpful through the whole process. The crew was meticulous about keeping the work area tidy and considerate about not imposing on our daily routine as much as possible. And the project was completed slightly ahead of schedule! We will definitely choose McHenry Remodeling when we are ready to remodel our bathrooms and we highly recommend them if you are considering a project.

I HIGHLY recommend McHenry Remodeling. We met with Mike and he agreed to take on our project with a tight budget and even tighter timeline. Five months later, we kept to the budget and they were finished in time for my aging parents to move in once their home was sold. The entire team: Mike, Jodi, Jaylene, Jamie, Gordie, Josh, Matt and Rod were great communicators throughout the project. They asked the right questions and incorporated extras (included in our budget) that made the house go from good to great. I will be using them on future projects and recommending to my friends and colleagues. Service: Patio construction

I called the company and told them I needed some cement work done on my front porch and needed a tub/shower surround installed and asked if someone could come out and give me an estimate. Mike (I believe he is the owner) arrived and I asked about the porch. He told me that they didn't do cement work. So, I then showed him the bathroom, told him what I needed and he told me that they don't install shower surrounds, only tile. I then asked for a ball park figure of what it would cost for simple subway tile to be installed. He told me he didn't know because he wasn't the one who did the quotes, and he wouldn't have time to take on another job anyway. So why did this man WASTE my time if they don't do cement work, install shower surrounds and don't have time to take on another job? They should have been HONEST when I called and told me that instead of wasting my time. I had to take time off work to meet with the guy. He was also very rude. Not only will I never use his company, I will tell everyone I know about my experience with them. Albany is a small town, and word gets around.
