Extremely disappointed with this establishment. The front bumper to my BMW 435i had to be replaced due to an unforeseeable weather-related incident. Geico, my insurance provider, recommended I go with this Auto Body shop. So I did. I had my car dropped off, pictures were taken and an estimate was drawn. After about 3 weeks, the Auto Body shop called to let me know that my vehicle was ready for pickup. So I excitedly drove to the shop in my rental only to be told that the vehicle was in fact, not quite ready as they were still troubleshooting a fault code related to the parking sensors. I didn't mind that the car wasn't ready. I just found it rather odd that the shop would tell me my car was ready when it wasn't. I didn't think much of it. These things happen. About a week passed before I got another call saying that my car was ready for pickup. I picked up my car just as the establishment was closing on this particular day. It was dark outside at the time so I decided I would inspect the repairs the following morning. Morning came and my dismay, I noticed that the brake air-duct (passenger side) was missing. This missing part not only channels air to the brakes but it also acts as a shield to help prevent water and dirt from getting behind the bumper which houses numerous parking sensors, cameras and electrical wiring. I live in Oregon where it rains a lot so you can imagine my frustration. I immediately reached out to my adjustor (Laurie) from Geico explaining that the work on my vehicle was incomplete. She said she would let the Auto Body shop know. I didn't hear anything back from either party so I called the Body shop directly. I forget the person I spoke with but they were very apologetic and pointed out that since my vehicle had the M-sport package, they ordered the wrong parts and so things didn't fit as expected. Despite this, they went ahead and assembled the vehicle anyway. They were hoping that I wouldn't notice since this part sits behind the bumper and can only be seen by looking through the front mesh. I have lost all confidence in the repairs that were done up to this point. If an Auto Body shop knowingly assembles your vehicle even though they are aware that parts are missing, then their credibility should be questioned. I was told that they would order the correct parts and that I would get a call to bring my car in so that the repairs could be completed. Well, I'm sure you can guess by this point how this went. Of course no one bothered to call me. Notice a trend? We are now in 2022 and still nothing. All this happened back in November of 2021. I wasn't given a rental this this time even though I pay my insurance to have a rental in times like these. Their reason for not providing a rental this time was because my car was drivable as-is even after I pointed out my concerns. Oh well. I understand that the COVID-19 pandemic has made things difficult in general but I don't appreciate being lied to especially when I am paying a lot of money. I have been quite patient with this Auto Body shop. But my patience is getting me nowhere. Now I am seeking help from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to look into this business and to make sure that they finish the job they claimed they did. I will never recommend this place to anybody. The personnel seem friendly but unfortunately lack any sense of urgency. Please be aware before you take your vehicle(s) to this shop.
