Momentum River Expeditions

I am writing this review well more than 10 years since the last time I took a trip with this company. For several years my dad would take my sister and me on a trip with this company down the lower Klamoth River starting in Happy Camp CA. I cannot express how many pure, joyfully, and exciting memories I have from the trips that we took. They were truly life changing and I hope to take another one in the future. From being (what I was told) being the youngest person to solo Dragon's Tooth rapid solo to catching frogs and asking "Yay Mambo?" I will cherish the days spent on the river forever. I recommend the trips offered to anyone who asks

I recently completed a combination hiking and rafting trip with Momentum River Expeditions and it was amazing! I had never rafted before, so I didn't know what to expect or how to prepare. The folks in the office, Gretchen and Stephanie, were very patient with my many questions, and the handouts they sent prior to the trip helped me get ready. The trip itself was very well organized and went smoothly. Our two river guides, Carly and Jonathan, worked so hard hauling stuff! The lunches they prepared at riverside were beautiful and I appreciated the care they took to make sure food safety rules were followed. Our trail guide, Vivek, was helpful, cheerful and patient. The accommodations Momentum chose were memorable, especially the final night at Half Moon Bar Lodge. I highly recommend both Momentum and their Rogue River hiking trip.

I joined a group of friends on the Klamath river trip and it was absolutely fantastic! Sarah was our guide and she was one of the best guys I've ever been with! Knowledgeable, direct and communication, and FUN! It was great to be on the water with a female guide!

We have gone on numerous river trips with Momentum and I can't say enough good things about this company. The office staff is super helpful in coordinating the trip, sorting out changes to the group and helping share information about how to prepare for the trip. The van drivers were fun and safe. The guides were so fun and professional, guiding us expertly down some pretty complex rapids. The food is also a highlight, and you just never go hungry on a Momentum trip! This year, we did a 3-day trip on the Illinois in May, which was amazing. I also coordinated a day trip on the Upper Klamath for our company in July as a team building day. Both times, I was wowed by the professionalism and complete care each member of the Momentum crew to ensure everyone has a great time on the river. Thank you so much!
