        We had one of the worst check in experiences that I've ever had. The employee at the desk stated that there was no reservation in the computer. I showed her the reservation on my phone and she just rolled her eyes and said that she hates people who book on third party sites. She then swiped my card and thus charging me again for my stay. The room is great but the lady at the front desk needs firing. I hope the manager will figure out how to change this person's attitude. Makes me think twice before booking here again. I sure hope the property manager contacts me about my stay. Also was put in a room right next to a very loud family. Walkability: Easy walk to to area restaurants Food & drinks: So many bars in the area.

        My first time staying here; I've stayed everywhere else in Astoria. It's a decent value for the price. I noticed that they were switching to a Best Western. I don't have any problem with that; except the breakfast isn't very good. Stick with the cold options, which they do offer plenty of. Beds were very comfortable. Room was clean. Although our heater made a clicking noise the entire stay, which made it difficult to sleep. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool and hot tub were clean. I would stay here again and probably will. Rooms: Room was clean and damage free. Food & drinks: Safeway next to hotel. Dining options nearby

I am sorry for the attitude of the team member who checked you in. Please know this is different from the usual demeanor of our staff, and we will make sure all of our employees remain courteous and helpful. We are glad for the opportunity to address those third-party reservations and encourage visitors to double-check with the property directly to make sure the destination hotel receives it. Although not often, glitches can occur to disrupt internet service and communications.
