James was a pleasure to work with! Super professional, great with little kiddos, and very responsive. Being visitors to the coast, he had a great eye for location too. We would definitely have him do family pictures again.

James photographed my elopement in 2019. We planned a gorgeous sunset ceremony - but the weather did not cooperate. I was disappointed until I received my photos. James work is stunning! He did a wonderful job of capturing a moody and romantic evening on the Oregon Coast. He's also a lovely person. My husband gets tense and freezes up when having his picture taken; James made him feel at ease. James took wonderful portraits as well as candid shots of our ceremony and cake cutting. We had trouble getting the cork out of a bottle and James captured it. I look at the photos James took and they take me right back to my wedding; the way you hope your wedding photos will, I cannot recommend James highly enough. If you are looking for a photographer on the Oregon coast choose James! We plan to return for an anniversary (tbd as my husband works in Antarctica right now) and hope James will be available for a portrait session so we can capture more beautiful memories. James is both talented and kind - it's a rare combination!

James was the photographer when I proposed to my fianc on Cannon Beach in Oregon. He was both incredibly easy to work with and organized when planning the surprise, as well as kind, discreet and helpful on the big day. We were beyond thrilled with the way the photos turned out and at a very reasonable price. We would completely recommend James to anyone looking for a photographer and are so happy to have worked with him on such a special day.
