The butternut tarte tatin was tasteless, not hot or cold, room temperature. It was neither salty or sweet. I haven't quite had something so bland at a restaurant before. The shortcrust pastry was completely raw in the center. It was beautiful, but that was all it had going for it. No balance, just bland. The Bees Knees cocktail was fantastic as well as the view. Service is not on par with other establishments in the same price range. Waited for about 5ish minutes in the lobby with multiple staff present at the bar and hotel check in station before someone acknowledged I was there. No check in after the food was delivered, or when I finished my cocktail and water. When asking for the bill and paying at the counter, they did discount the tarte so there was that. Had really high hopes for this place because Pickled Fish is one of my favorites and they're under the same ownership. No one was rude, just not attentive service. Would have a cocktail there again...not so sure about food. Popped to another restaurant afterwards as I left full of a cocktail and in need of some lunch.
