I think at this point, after all of the negative reviews, theyre proud of being the most expensive vintage store on the west coastfor no apparent reason. Whenever I venture into Aurora, I stop in for a laugh. Its like a game. I cover the price and guess the most ridiculous amount and 8/10 times Im a winner!

Beautiful store, but insane pricing. If you want to look for ideas and actually touch an item before buying it much cheaper on eBay or elsewhere, this is a good place to go. Prices are quadruple, or more, what they should be.

I recently purchased an absolutely beautiful stained glass window from Nathan at Aurora Mills Architectural Salvage. I was not certain in the beginning if I was going to have him repair my original window or pivot and try to find a stained glass window to fit the space. I talked at length with Nathan about my choices and he was so willing to explain everything that would need to be done to either repair the old one or install a stained glass window I might find. My mother-in-law and I set out to start looking at all of the beautiful stained glass windows offered in this large space. I had my measuring tape on hand to find the perfect fit. We ended up finding the perfect stained glass to match the era of my home in almost the exact size of the existing window frame. My brother was able to find some old growth fir to match the frame around the stained glass window to build out the top and bottom to fit the space. I was set with the task of re-cementing the glass, staining the inside frame to match my interior frame molding from 1910, and primer painting the outside of the frame. I called Nathan at the store before I did the re-cementing on the glass and he walked me through the process on this DIY install. I will forever be thankful to Nathan for making me feel brave enough to tackle this project!! I am absolutely in LOVE with this window and feel it was meant to be in this space! Thank you Nathan!! I am telling everyone to visit this store!!
