Shala is a horrible attorney. She constantly allows things to fall through the cracks. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else. Or else you will constantly be paying her more money for mistakes to be made.

My friend hired Kudlac Law in Bandon, Oregon as a probate lawyer. They were consistently rude, and avoidant with communications. They also sold her mother's house to a family friend of theirs for under market value during the peak of the real estate market bubble. Furthermore, the appraisal company also had personal ties to the buyer, which is highly unethical. They had already been negotiating with this real estate broker (friend of the secretary) before my friend even decided she wanted to put late mother's home on the market. A negotiation (and appraisal) which she was billed for prior to her ever even discussing whether or not she even wanted to sell the house. They then had her pay for yet ANOTHER appraisal from their same unethically connected appraiser. Their secretary, Tanya, was overtly rude and unnecessarily condescending throughout the entire process. During the course of a year and three months, my friend was strangely only able to speak to the actual attorney a couple of times as the Secretary seemed to be the one doing the actual work. My friend was so distraught and grief-stricken when her mother passed that they must have been chomping at the bit when saw her coming. I would definitely not recommend hiring Kulac Law. It's only a matter of time before the Oregon Bar Association is forced to take a closer look at their unethical practices and personal business ties.
