Courtyard by Marriott Portland Beaverton

Regularly spend 4-11 nights in this hotel. It's been a long renovation, but it's almost done. Barely notice when work is actually happening and it's not affected any of my stays for any reason. But I have noticed the work over the last 2 years. Rooms updated. exterior updated. now they're working on the courtyard area. The front desk is always pleasant and accommodating. Rooms are always clean and quiet. One knock is the train, I've not been woken up, but I've heard my co-workers mention it. Guess it depends on your location in the building and how you sleep. Rooms: Clean and decent layout. Big beds that are comfy.

Very noisy room, by an exit and elevator. The AC/heater is loud and kicks on and off too frequently. I got very little sleep for the 3 nights I was there. Advertises as having a pool and doesn't. Charges $5 for bottled water. Odd hours for the cafe.

Titanium Member Absolutely thrilled! The staff at this hotel were excellent at making me feel appreciated as an elite member. They automatically upgraded and observed my late checkout request from the app without me having to ask them again. Very comfortable, too!

The entire staff was very accommodating and empathetic. Being displaced for a week because of a lack of power and water due to the snow/ice storms, this was our favorite hotel by far. I cannot emphasize enough how well we were treated by the staff. They definitely made a stressful time for a pregnant wife and 18 month old toddler much easier!
