Center Street Park

Near our home. I like the playground for the kids. There is also a 1/2 mile paved loop around the park. I like taking walks there. When my kids were younger they would bicycle around it. There is full visual and I can sit at a picknick table and relax. There is a large field people play soccer on it in the summer. Only thing is in the evenings after dark There are weird people walking around there. There has recently been homeless that spend the night there once in a while. No RESTROOMS! So plan ahead of time. Playground: Nice working playground Dog-friendliness: Tons of people walk there is dog there Picnic area: Picknick tables available first com first serve.

We live nearby. The large grass area has been unfortunately neglected over the summer and allowed to completely dry out. The playground itself has minimal shade and could use some updating. Especially with how hot it has been it was disappointing to come back here and see it in this state which is basically unusable to kids. Could use: - rain and shade cover over playground - sprinkler system to water grass - small splash pad would be awesome
