        Very interesting piece of little known history tucked away into the heart of southern Oregon! Unfortunate that Weyerhaeuser felt the need to put their name on the plaque, however.

        I WAS SORTA LOST HEADING BACK EAST TO TENNESSEE WHEN I REALISED I WAS IN BLY, OR. THIS WAS MAYBE 2006? NO INTERNET. STOPPED AT THE LITTLE STORE AND ASKED ABOUT THE MOUMENT AND NO ONE SEAMED TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT. NO INFO, NO DIRECTIONS, NO HELP, BUT I KNEW ABOUT IT. FOR SOME ODD REASON I THINK OF THE CHILDERN OFTEN. HERE IN EAST TN WE HAVE THE GREAT SMOKEY MOUNTIANS NATIONAL PARK, THERIN IS THE MOSTLY HIDDEN AND FORGOTTEN "PEARL HARBOR TREE" , HARD TIMES WERE EVERWHERE. OREGON IS A VERY PRETTY PLACE, HOPE TO GET BACK SOMEDAY. ROBERT
