Easy hike, beautiful view. Parking: Good amount of parking space but i saw alot glass from broken windows so not sure how safe it is. I stayed for 4 hr and everything was okay. Pretty busy in this time of the year(september). Fees: No fee

I'm going to be a contrarian on this one. I think there are dozens of much better falls and hikes in this area. It's about 2 mi to get in and you're going through a muddy burnt out forest which is not very nice. When you get to punchbowl falls. It's completely overgrown and very difficult to see. The viewpoints aren't great and the trail does not appear to go down to the bottom, although I did see two people down there possibly from a difficult climb. All in all, unless you want to do them all, I would skip this one. The parking was a bit confusing. If you go past the first parking lot on left you will get to a second closer parking lot 1/3 mile or so on. If that's not full you can park there and I believe it shortens the hike as this is where we parked.
