My husband gifted me with one of these gorgeous puppies. He is 8 months now and truly the smartest, most amazing dog we have ever had the pleasure of raising! I can't say enough great things about this awesome breeder!

I purchased Zoey a little over a year ago. I have had GSDs for 15 years. My Zoey is everything I hoped for. She is gorgeous, goofy, patient, and exuberant! And incredibly intelligent. Smartest and more keenly alert to everything of any dog Ive had but uses good sense at all times. When she is sitting in the car people will actually roll down their windows to tell me how gorgeous she is! The sellers at Sherman Ranch continue to communicate and show interest in how we are doing. Impressive!

So happy I decided to hit up mike and debbie for a pup. They were very nice through the whole process. I have never been great with training dogs, so I was stoked to get my little guy with all the basics covered. If I ever move to a bigger place with space for another dog, i will for sure go back.

Update 09/15/2020: The response from the owner just solidifies what you would have to deal with if you buy from this business. When we brought the dog home the dog passed a rock in her feces that was eaten while in the care of Sherman Ranch. We noticed the issues right away but thought that it might just be transitional problems and stress and so we took the dog to a professional dog trainer and he told us the dog is very sensitive and has some weird habits, unusual for her age and habits that could not have been taught in the 3 days that we had her. However, as the behavior got worse (dog relentlessly biting its own tail and snapping at my wife, eating foreign objects) that we called and informed them that we would be returning the dog. 10 days passed before we called to return the dog, that is not a lot of time, it is not as if we had the dog for months and months and then suddenly, we no longer liked her. As suggested by the owner, we never hurt the dog or treated the dog bad anytime, we pampered this dog. As for the glass like material, we bought the puppy treats from Petco, absolutely nothing that could harm a puppy, so this is hurtful that the owner is suggesting we fed the puppy something like glass, the owner should be more professional and not make absurd assumptions. The dog had issues long before we received her and we never saw where the dogs are raised exactly so this is a mystery as to why she had so many bad habits. It turned out to be a huge mistake buying from Sherman Ranch, they took my 1400 dollars for having a dog for 12 days and I am a disabled Veteran with limited income, on their Facebook page they say they support Veterans, that's a lie. This business took advantage of me, when all I wanted was a good companion for my family and I trusted them to deliver a quality dog, especially for the money that I paid. It just shows what kind of business this is to suggest it was our fault that the dog that they raised for 13 weeks had problems because we did something in the 12 days that we had it. A legitimate business would not have an issue returning a customers money if they were not happy with the purchase, especially after returning the dog so soon. We think they knew the dog had issues because when we returned the dog the owner had it by the leash and the dog started to bite its own tail so the owner yanked really hard on the leash immediately while the dog was doing this to try and stop her from doing it in our presence, to us it looked like the owner had seen this behavior before because the owner recognized it so fast and tried to hide it. My money should be returned, I returned the dog, I want my money back, Shame on you Sherman Ranch for Re-selling this dog to another poor family with disabilities to DOUBLE your profits. Despicable, dishonest and dishonorable. We ended up getting a German Shepherd that needed a home off of Craigslist and he is an excellent dog, we love him. He has none of the issues that the Sherman Ranch dog had. Stay away from this place! Adopt or purchase a dog in need from anywhere else, you will save a life, gain a lifelong friend and it will cost you 10 times less. Original post: Lost a lot of money! Bought a dog from this woman and the dog had a lot of issues, obsessively bit its own tail to the point of hurting itself and snapped at us, not sure what was wrong with it. We returned it after only 12 days and she kept almost all of our money, She has no return policy as we unfortunately found out. Make sure if you do go here that you read the contract carefully and ask about the return policy if the dog does not work out, that was my mistake and it cost me 1400 dollars. We tried to contact her to get the rest but she just ignored us, even after she promised to give us another portion of our money. I do not recommend buying from this business.
