After the well on our property ran dry, I was given the same recommendation from several people. I was essentially told that I would be waiting some time regardless of which company I called, so I might as well get on the wait-list for one of the most reputable drillers in the area: Fry's Industries. That's exactly what I did. I called Fry's, and that's precisely how things worked out. I got in touch with Chuck and he let me know up front that he had a long list of clients ahead of me. He told me that some might go with other drillers, but that many would wait for him. So, if I wanted his services, I should expect to wait a while. I appreciated his honesty. Knowing this up front was extremely helpful because I did not have unrealistic expectations. Chuck encouraged me to check in throughout the wait period, and he would always cheerfully give me updates. As the time grew closer for him to do our drilling, he kept in touch frequently with updates. His friendly communications were welcome and appreciated. When the drilling job was to begin, Chuck and his father, the company's founder, Art, showed up at our place with a couple of large rigs. Chuck skillfully maneuvered the equipment into place, expertly avoiding nearby power lines and trees. Everything Chuck did, he made it look easy, despite it all being very physically demanding and often very dangerous work. Throughout the entire process, Chuck was upbeat, animated, personable and funny - all while remaining professional and focused on his task. He knew the land, he knew his equipment and he knew the local rules and regulations. We're extremely pleased with the work that Fry's did for us and highly recommend their services. We couldn't have found a better well drilling professional to help end our nearly year-long dilemma of being out of water and having to have water delivered weekly... After speaking to several drilling companies who seemed either dismissive, rude, or simply too busy to become invested in helping us, it was such a relief when Chuck showed up and -for the first time in a year- gave us hope that our water issues might finally be over soon! He brought a great sense of humor, empathy, and positive attitude to the table that was a breath of fresh air after our struggles that lasted through what seemed like an endless winter and involved burned up jet pumps, cracked PVC pipes and one issue after another. Many many showers at friend's houses as well as days on end of simply no water-piled up dishes and laundry etc etc. You simply don't realize how essential your household water is until you don't have it!! And we won't ever take it for granted again. (I guess it was a great lesson in gratitude for the simple things we take for granted) When I first contacted him, Chuck was also honest about his high work load and asked me to please "feel free to bug him and remind him". Given our situation that wasn't hard to do since we were having to tell our kids nearly weekly that they couldn't take a shower tonight 'because we're almost out of water' ...What a pain! Chuck kept in contact as we moved up his wait list and before we knew it -and WAY sooner than any other company had told us they could be there- Art Fry pulled up to our (very residential) Bonanza-town- backyard where he skilfully maneuvered the massive rig into place to get the job done in record time. Incredibly no fences, power lines, or driveways were harmed in the process!! Fry Industries came as an absolute Godsend to us and we are beyond grateful for the quick, and resolute expertise they brought to the table to put and end to our water issues!! I started contacting this company in August of 2021 to come out and drill a well on my property in Klamath County. Reaching them on the phone was hit and miss. When I spoke with them the price was reasonable, but they could never pin down when I could expect to have them onsite to perform the work. I reached out to them several times in the course of the following year, to no avail. Trying to deal with Frye has been a total waste of time. If you NEED water look elsewhere. The price doesnt matter if they wont actually perform the work. It would have been nice if they would have just come out and said they were unable/ unwilling to drill my well, but instead they just strung me along.
