She is one of many doctors who thinks steroid cream is the only solution for eczema. She disregards patients request to avoid steroid but she still prescribes steroid because that is the only option and solution. After visit summary that says apply this ointment daily for two weeks, then twice weekly. This cycle maybe repeated monthly. This cycle maybe repeated me they? Excuse me? I didnt make this appointment with her to help whatever the company that makes this ointment make more money from a patient who is looking to cure. Steroid does not cure eczema. This is just temporary solution to calm eczema down. And Im sure all dermatologists know steroid wont cure. But they keep prescribing it to patients by their request. And unfortunately Dr. Bohnett is one of those. I cant say if she is good for other skin problems, but if you are looking for a doctor who actually listens to your lifestyle, food you eat, try to find what can help to ease your eczema, I suggest you to find someone else. All she will say is steroid is the only option and will give you the lowest percentage of steroid thats is 2.5%.
