        This is a hard trail with parking about 1/10 mile up the road from the trailhead. Lots of beautiful scenery along the way and some great views of Diamond Peak. There is no fee, but you do need a self issue permit which is available at the Trailhead. Be prepared for a steep incline right away.

        Found it. With ease. Roads were good. Parking is on a wide-ish extension along the dirt road

        Good trailhead to summit diamond. Not many cars. Gps takes you weird routes to get here.
