Being matched with this dentist office has been such a blessing. I have never received dental care that didnt feel absolutely horrifying before this. I had honestly lost a lot of hope about the state of my teeth after experiencing a year long state of depression. The dental tools are still scary and we are all still extremely disenfranchised as citizens of a country that cant even provide us universal healthcare. However, everyone here does a really great job of making you feel comfortable enough to tackle your dental fears.

Mary, Dr. Sykora, and the Maple Denstry team were an absolute pleasure to speak with about multiple dental issues I needed addressed. They were incredibly compassionate and addressed my anxiety about dental work with kindness and thoughtfulness. This dental experience really changed my mind about this industry. Thank you!

I really have to compliment Dr Sykora and his staff. They have really changed how I feel about going to get dental work done. Everyone is very professional and extremely nice. They have not once had any judgment or anything negative to say. They communicate well and make sure to listen to me. Appointments are fast with minimal waiting. The office is very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend Maple Dental.

It wasn't all bad. All of the female employees were fine, and the hygienist especially, was excellent. She is squandered at this place. That's about where my praise ends though. The indiscriminate building is hard to find and shoddy. The practice is new, so I can forgive aesthetics or lack thereof , but it's cramped and the acoustics are awful. Because of this, there's not really any privacy whatsoever. You can hear conversations echoing from the waiting room, and everything just feels cheap. The dentist and the technician frankly had no bedside manner. Going to the dentist is hardly anyone's idea of zen, but it was one of the least comfortable dental experiences I have ever experienced. On top of that, they really give you no options. If you need work done, they act as if all cavities are the same, and they must get filled. Every other dentist I have ever seen gives options and a detailed breakdown of what may or may not to be worked on. They just blanketed everything as necessary here, despite varying severity. And the worst part probably - they make you do things one at a time. Have 2 cavities? Will be 2 separate visits. Need a cleaning? They do it in quadrants here, so that means... you guessed it... FOUR visits! This is speculation on my part, but I'm almost positive they get more insurance money with each patient they have, and probably with each visit. So it's a conflict of the profitability of a new and someone sketchy practice, versus the patient obviously wanting what is best for them. Would strongly not recommend.
