        Forest fires make this area unacceptable at the moment. There is a $1000 dollar fine for being in area of the forest that is burnt. As well as, search and rescue will NOT come for you. Heavy land slides are leading to many stops along the road.

        Now that you can finally drive down OR-224 again, you can plainly see that the entire Clackamas River Trail and the Pup Creek Falls area was totally incinerated in the Riverside Fire. I loved that hike and I am so sad that it will never be anything close to what it was before I die. You can now see the waterfall from the road where it was totally obscured before.
