        I visited the shop during rose city yarn crawl to get my measurements taken by Jen Perroccini. There was an employee there who followed my girlfriend and I through out the shop and stared at us when we were shopping. We felt awkward and uncomfortable being singled out from the rest of the customers and decided to leave before we could get our measurements. We changed our minds and went back to get the measurements, but left quickly after because they were still watching us. Reply Edit: I understand the need to watch out for theft during busy events, but no one was being followed or watched as closely as we were. Whether or not you believe your employees profiled us is irrelevant because it was very clear from our perspective that we were.

        They have wonderful yarns, not a lot of yarn that is not wool that I would be able to use. Probably won't go back because it is so far away from me.

      Hi Joy,I'm so sorry our staff made you and your friend feel uncomfortable. The Rose City Yarn Crawl is our biggest event of the year with a high number of people in our shop at one time. We have to limit occupancy at times for fire code because there are so many people. Friday, the day you came was the busiest day of the entire event. During an event like this we have all staff on hand with a number of them out on the floor watching for theft. There are people who will put unpaid merchandise in their own bags and jacket packets, so it has become a problem we have to tackle. Our staff was watching everyone and not just you and your friend. Again I'm sorry if you felt singled out but you were not. The actions of other customers have made us have to increase security during this event.

      Hi Dawn, I'm so sorry we only earned a three star review. Our yarns we stock are determined by customers demands. We do have some non wool yarns and we usually carry more in the summer months when the demand for them is higher. We have found there is not a high demand for them yearn round and they do not sell well our shop during certain months. If there comes a higher demand for non wool yarns year round then we would stock more.
